Boneless Prime Rib Roasting Guide


  1. Season roast if desired.
  2. Place roast fat side up on rack in roasting pan.
  3. Roast uncovered in pre-heated oven at 450 degrees F for 15 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to 325 degrees F.
  5. Continue roasting to desired doneness.
  6. Rare: 20 minutes per pound (140 degrees F)
  7. Medium: 25 minutes per pound (160 degrees F)
  8. Well: 30-35 minutes per pound (170 degrees F)
  9. Test meat temperature with meat thermometer.
  10. Let roast stand 10 minutes before carving.
